The winners of the RAC Cooling Awards 2021 were revealed on the 21st October at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London. The night of recognition and celebration of the sector’s achievements saw the cooling industry elite come together in person for the first time since September 2019, hosted by comedian Holly Walsh.
EndoCool won the award for Air Conditioning Product of the Year drawing praise from the judging panel of cooling sector experts who added: “The science behind “making water wetter” by breaking down the surface tension to maximise heat exchange efficiency has been proven in other sectors, so the transition into the cooling water and chiller market is very welcome. Early efficiency checks have shown very promising results and some big name end-users are already trialling this exciting innovation.” With 19 categories rewarding different aspects of the industry, the awards, recognise the leading people, products, projects and services in the sector. This diversity and credibility means the RAC Cooling Awards are amongst the most sought-after accolades in the RAC sector. Andrew Gaved, Editor of Emap’s RAC and H&V News magazine, who co-hosts the Cooling Awards said: “The cooling industry has shown a massive response to the pandemic and these awards are testimony to its achievement. True to form, these companies haven’t made a huge song and dance about it, because keeping things running smoothly is precisely what our industry specialises in. But they are achievements of which the whole country should be rightly proud.”
